Portland Bill's rugged coast



This picture of Portland Bill is taken from almost the same place the last post's picture was, except that it's 180 degrees the other way.

The coast line is jagged like this a fair amount out here, with these long flat rocks that show during low tide and submerge during high tide, the kids like to use them for jumping into the water and you often see people fishing on them too.

During stormy weather you see some great crashing waves here, not a time to be in the water that's for sure.

If you come to Portland you simply have to visit Portland Bill.
