The consistency has been great with only a couple of bad days in the last 6 or 7 weeks.
Chesil beach is never empty at the moment with people taking advantage of the sun. Plenty of groups on canoes out there recently, plenty of people fishing too.
Admittedly the nights have got colder, and it's not long till the clocks go back again so we lose the later sunsets and the brighter mornings start, the real end of the summer.
For now everyone is enjoying the weather and making the most of it, as the one truth with British weather is as we know...it won't last!
As you say Rob, some great weather at the moment. Shame we don't get to see the sunsets up here so much on top of the Island without walking over to the cliffs, not recommended when it's coming in dark, the path is too rough. However, from my bedroom window early in the morning, I usually see the sun coming up over St. Andrew's church in Avalanche Road. It's lovely watching the night sky break gently into daylight and sunshine. We have had two reasonably good months lately and no doubt, winter is on the horizon but once it's here we can get some lovely, although frosty, mornings. These can be just as picturesque as summer mornings, sometimes prettier I think you will agree.
