This Portland Bill site will be having slight changes and one you may now notice is the new added Intesnnsedebate comment platform, one reason I am now trying this out is the sheer hassle and at times frustration of the normal standard blogger set up.
Until they improve it something needs to be done. :o)
The way they take their time I can't hang around waiting for them and numerous times people have contacted me saying the comment vanished, the form didn't work etc... frustration for anyone who writes a decent comment here with thought, only to not even see the damn thing!
I have in all honesty decided to give this site a proper go on blogger but having used WP on my main site for the last month and enjoying it, it is looking like a real possibility I could move this to a WP platform, it just offers so much more.
The added bonus using the intensedebate commenting platform is the fact commentluv also works with it, and it is a great added benefit to any blog that allows comments, even if you don't use it on your blog it makes sense to create an account, just to benefit from having your blog's latest post show under any comments, or choose one of the last ten comments.
This helps new readers find your blog, and you gain some link love which is all important.
You should grab an account now and benefit from it, there are good reasons to, commentluv is more than links, comments, and traffic.
I hope this Portland Bill site improves with these changes and appreciate any views you readers may have, comments are always welcome and more so now. ;o)
I am hoping you like the changes I implement and I hope you will be along for the ride as I have great plans for this site, which will be even better if I do end up on WP, for now, lets see how we do here with the new comment set up.
