March is here already, Portland can look forward to some more amazing sunsets, not that we don't get them in winter but they do seem to step up in beauty in the warmer longer days.
Not so long till the clocks go forward again drawing the days out into early evening time, the time Portland's Chesil beach cove really comes alive with locals enjoying the view and what's not to enjoy!
The days and nights are still pretty crisp and chilly, good clean air though and it's damn good for you.
Looking at the picture above it seems hard to believe it could be battered by stormy weather when it feels like it, as it was this winter, the worse in years but an amazing sight nevertheless.
I do think however we will have a latish spring, maybe due to the cold snap etc, not seen any daffodils out yet, which is late already I think, not sure but they have been out early over the last few years and in the end it's nature that provides the real clock.
Looking forward to a decent spring and summer of beautiful sunsets now.
