June already and the weather still can't make its mind up!
It seems we have a few fantastic days and then a complete contrast, misty, rain, and miserably grey... mind you at times it's cool though.
Good typical old British weather!
But...
The year is flying by isn't it?
6 months into it already and it seemed like yesterday we bemoaned how "damn cold" it was with one of the worse winters in years on Portland, seeing Chesil beach battered by storms, the likes of which we haven't seen in a decade or more... thankfully.
Hoping that Portland's summer is as good as the last winter was bad this year.
Let's not bet on that though! ;o)
A good summer gives the community a chance to mingle, gooseberry fayre and grove bash are examples that the majority of people will see each other at, not to mention all the summer BBQ
's (men check that link out!) people hold as well for smaller groups of friends, good times, eating
, having a drink, in the sunshine!.Roll on summer I say!
